As part of your treatment plan you may be asked to carry out some stretches to aid your rehabilitation, prevent re-occurrence of the injury or to enable greater efficiency of movement of particular joints.  These are examples of some of the more common stretches with an explanation of why and how stretching this particular muscle may be beneficial to you.
